Our Story
How It All Started ( 2023 )
Back in 2023, during my second year at Universiti Sains Malaysia, I decided to take a leap of faith. I had no business background, only a bit of design knowledge I picked up from my time in student associations. After stepping away from that world, I asked myself: “Why not try something of my own?”. That is when I officially registered Qur Enterprise and started my first brand, Qur Premium.
The Early Hustle
Like many student entrepreneurs, I wore many hats. Qur Premium started with jersey t-shirts, and not long after, I branched into new experiments: flavored crackers under the name Qur Crunch, and even a door-to-door printing service called Qur Service. To my surprise, Qur Premium’s very first batch of jerseys sold over 50 pieces, a big win for a one-man team. But handling too many things at once eventually caught up with me. With no team and too many side ventures, I lost focus.
Setbacks & Lessons
At one point, I faced a tough reality. Losing nearly RM1,000 was a painful process, but it also opened my eyes. Failure wasn’t the end. It was a checkpoint. That’s when I realized I needed to slow down, refocus and rebuild something stronger.
A Fresh Start: QUERA ( 2024 - Now )
By the end of 2024, I gave the journey a new breath of life: QUERA. The name carried a new vision, inspired by the resilience of a turtle (kura-kura), a symbol of patience, growth and never giving up. From there, QUERA evolved into more than just a clothing brand. Today, it is growing under the umbrella of Quera Studio, focusing on creating the ultimate student's wardrobe style: casual, versatile, and affordable fashion made for everyday campus life.
Our Journey Continues
From jersey drops to streetwear-inspired collections, from trial and error to community-driven designs, QUERA is a reminder that every student can dream, hustle and grow at their own pace. This is not just our story, it is a movement and you are part of it.
